Fundraiser for McMaster Children Hospital and Boots on the Ground. ($2000 went to McMaster and $600 to Boots) this was from donations from HWDC staff/ticket sales from a mass lotto ticket board/sale of our own HWDC challenge coin. December, 2020

HWDC staff donated money and items which in turn our hard working COBUSA Officer Laurie MacNeil organized, purchased and bagged items like hygiene products, hats, gloves socks, slippers, pillows, diapers, Tim Hortons gift cards, puzzle books, candy in to a welcoming gift for seniors. Total amount donated $1300 to multiple senior homes across Hamilton area. (Heritage Green, Cathmar Manor, Victoria Manor, Victoria Gardens). December, 2020

EMDC Staff donated gifts to Boys and Girls Club of London.  December 18th, 2020

Sarnia Jail staff donated bin full of toys to the Women’s Interval Home of Sarnia Lambton, helping to ensure all kids wake up to presents from Santa,  December 15th, 2020

CNCC’s Institutional Crisis Intervention Team donated $500 to Midland Salvation Army Food Bank.  December 11th, 2020

Sarnia Jail staff hosted a BBQ fundraiser to raise money for Operation Smile.  October 16th, 2020

Vanier Centre for Women and Maplehurst staff participated in 1st Relay for Special Olympics.  Raising money and awareness for the Law Enforcement Torch Run.  September 14th, 2020

Sarnia Jail held a BBQ fundraiser, raising $500 for the Great Cycle Challenge, an organization that helps kids who are fighting cancer.  August 29th, 2020

SWDC staff supporting Fight Like Mason Foundation. August 28th, 2020

CNCC staff constructed and donated items, such as a visitor’s booth and Muskoka chairs, to support Georgian Manor.  July 13th, 2020

Ottawa Probation and Probation and Parole Officers came together and donated several gift cards to Shepherds of Good Hope, The Ottawa Salvation Army, Ottawa Youth Services, and the Ottawa Mission.  July 8th, 2020

Thanks to Derek Wilson, Ontario Correction’s Badge of Life Canada Ambassador, for organizing these banners to be sent to Corrections institutions around the Ontario, which will be displayed at the Canada Police and Peace Officers Memorial on September 27th, 2020 (June 10th, 2020)

Hamilton Wentworth Detention Centre staff raised over $1100 for Hamilton’s Neighbour to Neighbour Centre.  June 9th, 2020.

Central East Correctional Centre staff raised over $2000 and several bins of non-perishable food items for Kawartha Food Source in Lindsay.  May 23rd, 2020.

Central North Correctional Centre staff raised $450 and several bins of non-perishable food items for Midland and Area Salvation Army.  May 21st, 2020.

Central North Correctional Centre staff raised money to provide 2 full meals for staff at Georgian Bay General Hospital in Midland.  Thanks to Phil’s Casual Dining and Pita Pit Midland for helping to make this possible.  May 12th, 2020
